Every believer is called to make disciples. Discipleship is God’s way for believers to reach those who are far from Christ. First we submit ourselves to discipleship, which enables us to live the abundant life that Jesus came to give us, and in doing so, be a witness to others. This witness of what God has done for us provides opportunities to pass along what we’ve learned to others.
ALL are called to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matt 28:19)
ALL are called into the ministry of helps (Mark 9:35)
SOME are also called to be apostles, evangelists, prophets, pastors, and teachers (Eph 4:11)
The FIRST step in common to all these ministries is to become a disciple, which means to be a faithful person who receives teaching and is able to pass it along to others (2 Tim 2:2). This correspondence bible school program is an awesome way to be discipled and to learn how to be effective in your ministry.
