Wheat Belly Fast

WHEAT BELLY FAST

EAT:

Meat (as much as you want) – I try to limit my red meat to once, or maybe twice, a day. Chicken and fish (yuck, but if you like it) are better.
Vegetables (as much as you want)
Nuts – I love to snack on almonds, pistachios, and walnuts.
Fruit (some) – Listen to your body on this one.
Starches & Carbs (limited) – I lose 2-3 pounds a day by keeping my carbs under 25 grams.
Unsweetened coffee and tea (as much as you want)
Diet soda is allowed, but I do believe it is horribly for you (and part of me thinks it keeps you from losing weights). When I’m on this fast, I drink only water.

DON’T EAT:

Sugared drinks •
SUGAR •
No WHEAT – This includes bread, pasta, cereals, cookies, crackers, donuts, chips, etc.

MEAL IDEAS:

For breakfast – try two eggs, bacon, an apple and some salsa.

For lunch – Burger or Cheeseburger (no bun or bread) with a small salad.

For dinner – Chicken or beef with Salad.

Snacks:

Boiled Eggs
Celery sticks
Apple
Sugar Free Jello with Whipped Cream

TIPS:

Read “Wheat Belly” by Dr. William Davis. In it he explains how wheat is so processed now that the body can’t digest it, causing weight gain, low energy, and slow metabolism.

In a week you will no longer crave food with wheat in it; you’ll actually prefer your hamburger without a bun. It’s crazy!

Eat all you want and lose lots of weight! Just avoid wheat and sugar, and limit your carb intake!
