“You will be taught about prayer but I think prayer also needs to be caught”

Ans: You can GET the principle you are learning about in the Bible by DOING it and not just reading about it.
Has anyone ever caught a principal of the bible by DOING it?

2. Why is prayer like a power plant?  Explain.
Ans: prayer produces spiritual power that all ministry efforts need.

3.  Why is prayer like the Air Force supporting advancing troops?
Ans: prayer takes care and removes enemy forces so our ministry efforts do not get stalled, blocked or defeated.

4. Why is it important to know God HEARS us when we pray?
Ans: simply, it gives us boldness in prayer

5.  What are your thoughts about the video of the prayer group that changed the nation?

6.  Does anyone in the group feel they have a calling to prayer?  Why?

7.  Does anyone in the group have experience praying in an intercessory prayer group?  What was that like?

Week 3

  1.  Who are some people you can come in agreement with?
  2. What are some ways that you can technology to come in agreement in prayer?
  3. Matthew 18:19  says”Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.What are some ANYTHINGS that you can pray about in agreement?
  4. Does anyone have a testimony about praying in agreement with someone and seeing God move?
  5. Does anyone feel a special call to prayer?  Like an intercessor?  You feel it is your calling?   Why?
    Or does anyone know someone called to prayer?  An intercessor?  Who?
  6. Let’s pray and come in agreement for miracles.  (stop and transition to a prayer time, taking prayer requests.)

Week 4

  1. When dealing with a devil or demon, what is the correct way to address them?
    Ans:   Not prayer.  Do not ask God.  The bible says to speak to it and cast it out.
  2. Does anyone know the story of Jesus at Lazurus’ tomb?   John 11:43-42
    How did Jesus raise him from the dead?
    Ans:  He spoke and commanded him to come forth
  3. What are we using when we command things in the spirit?
    Ans:  Our Authority
    What is authority? 
    Ans:  A delegated position with power backing it up.
    Jesus spoke to other things.  Can you give example?
    Ans:   Fig tree,   Mountain,    Storm
  4. Can anyone give an example of the difference between Power and Authority?
    911 Hijackers=Power       Head Air Administration=Authority
  5. Can anyone give an example of speaking and commanding with authority?  Even during prayer.

Week 5

  1. How do you get the gift of speaking in tounges?
    Ans: You are baptized in the Holy Spirit?
  2. Is anyone here baptized in the Holy Spirit and has spoken in tounges?
    When and where you baptized?
  3. For those that are baptized in the Spirit, have you exercised your prayer language?
    Ans: When and how do you use it?
  4. What are some of the ways that praying in the Spirit is powerful?
    Ans: Our natural mind runs out of things to pray after a while?
    God prays his will and purpose through us?
  5. Explain in the teaching how the Spirit can pray through us for someone else?
    Ans: The missionaries had people praying for them when they were in trouble.

 

 

Week 6

  1. What does the scripture mean “the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak”?
    Ans:  Our body get’s tired.  We don’t end up doing spiritual disciplines like reading the bible or praying.
  2. Describe some situations that would happen if all power stopped in your city for a month.
  3. Describe what it is like in the Spirit if a church does not pray and create spiritual power for a month.
    Ans:  The lost would not get saved.  The saints would be oppressed by the enemy.  Money would stop coming in,  Our outreaches would not have the results we want.
  4. What do you think this scripture means?  Eph 6:18

    “Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.”

  5. What are some ways that we can pray “All the time”
    Ans:  Pray in the spirit,   Pray for all needs that arise.   Pray for people who need help, etc. 
  6. What does it mean to have a “note of victory” when you intercede for something?
    Ans:  You get a release or sense that what you are praying for is accomplished.
